    Cyril Alexander Garland Luckham (25 July 1907-8 February 1989) played the White Guardian in the Doctor Who television stories The Ribos Operation and Enlightenment.

    Other notable roles included Sir Timothy Hobson in the dystopian thriller The Guardians, Charles Ashley in The Cedar Tree and the villainous psychic Edward Drexil in two episodes of the BBC science fiction series The Omega Factor.

    His son, Robert Luckham, had earlier appeared in The Power of the Daleks.
