K. Bhaskaran Nair (1 March 1929 – 29 March 1990), professionally credited by his stage name Adoor Bhasi, was an Indian actor and film director. He was mostly cast as a sidekick to protagonists, particularly Prem Nazir. His comedic roles were widely appreciated in Malayalam films of the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
Adoor Bhasi was the childhood friend and close colleague of actor Prem Nazir, whose death in 1989, reportedly disturbed him mentally. He acted in Prem Nazir’s debut film Thyagaseema (1951), which was never released.
Adoor Bhasi was born in 1929 in Adoor, Kerala, India. He was an actor and director, known for Athirathram (1984), Raagam (1975) and Kodiyettam (1978). He died on 29 March 1990.
