Ralph Senensky ( born 1 May 1923; age 101) built a long career directing television series and the occasional telefilm beginning in 1958. During that career he directed seven episodes of Star Trek: The Original Series, spanning the time period 1967-1968, and encompassing episodes from all three seasons.
In his four-hour interview, Ralph Senensky recalls his childhood in Iowa and his early experiences directing community theater in his home state. He describes his move to Los Angeles, directing at the Pasadena Playhouse, and getting his first job in television at CBS' Playhouse 90.
