Ché Walker is an English actor, playwright, theatre director, and teacher. His musical Been So Long played at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the Young Vic theatre. It was later developed into a feature film of the same name starring Michaela Coel and released by Netflix in 2018.
Ché is currently under commission to Idris Elbas’ Green Door Films, and Tiger Aspect TV. His documentary feature ‘Connie’ has been selected for eighteen film festivals at time of writing.

Ché Walker. Ché Walker attended Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He has notched up over forty professional television acting credits and appeared in ten professional stage plays before becoming a playwright. His first play, Been So Long, premiered at the world-renowned Royal Court Theatre (star. Oscar nominee Sophie Okonedo) in 1998.
Che Walker is a British-American playwright, director and actor who has created and performed in acclaimed works such as Been So Long, The Frontline and The Eighth. He has won several awards, collaborated with Paul Heaton and taught at the Stella Adler Acting Studio.
Ché Walker. Ché’s recent stage credits include The Prince (Southwark Playhouse), Intra Muros (Park Theatre), which Ché also directed. Other stage credits include Mark Ravenhill’s Biloxi Blues (Salisbury Playhouse); Christmas (Bush Theatre).
