The port town of Skagen in north Jutland – the part of Denmark that looks like a finger pointing out towards Sweden – is a bustling hub of artists and Bohemians in the summer.
Eddie Thomas Petersen (født 18. august 1951 i Skagen) er en dansk filminstruktør . Biografi. Hans karriere startede på Århus Teater og siden hen flyttede han til København. Eddie Thomas Petersens karriere som instruktør startede på Det Danske Filmværksted i 1983, hvor han instruerede den selvbiografiske film, Tøsedrengen.
Eddie Thomas Petersen er født på Skagen, men hans karriere starter længere sydpå i det jyske, hvor han arbejdede som lysmand på Århus Teater. Erfaringen fra teaterverdenen bringer han med sig ind på Det Danske Filmværksted, hvor han i 1983 laver den selvbiografiske kortfilm “Tøsedrengen”.
