Jul 29, 2021 · Former CFL player-turned-Hollywood producer Doug Falconer passed away suddenly on Sunday at the age of 69, according to a report from Tim Baines of the Ottawa Sun. A staple of the Ottawa area, the Redblacks offered their heartfelt sympathies on Twitter with a short statement.
Following his college career, Doug went on to play professional football in the Canadian Football League with the Ottawa Rough Riders and the Calgary Stampeders. Doug was a member of the 1976 Grey Cup Champion Ottawa Rough Riders.
