S. P. Pillai (28 November 1913 – 12 June 1985) was an Indian film and stage actor, best known for his comic roles in Malayalam films.
S. P. Pillai was an accomplished actor of Malayalam known for comic roles. He, along with Adoor Bhasi, Shankaradi and Bahadoor forms a group of comic actors, particularly in the era of 1950’s to 1970’s. Noted comedy song ‘Keledi nee enne kettunna kaalathu’ was pictured on him.
S.P. Pillai was born on 12 October 1912 in Ettumanoor, Kerala, India. He was an actor, known for Nalla Thanka (1950), Karutha Rathrikal (1967) and Unniyarcha (1961). He died on 12 June 1985 in Ettumanoor, Kottayam district, India.
