Sam Zimbalist was born on 31 March 1904 in New York City, New York, USA. He was a producer and editor, known for Ben-Hur (1959), King Solomon's Mines (1950) and Quo Vadis (1951). He was married to Mary Taylor and Margaret C. Donovan. He died on 4 November 1958 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.
