Sean Wang is an American film director. His feature-length directorial debut, Dìdi, premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, where it received the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award. His documentary short, Nǎi Nai & Wài Pó, premiered at the 2023 South by Southwest, where it won both the Grand Jury Award and Audience Award.
Sean Wang is a Fremont-born, LA-based filmmaker who has made short and feature films, such as Nǎi Nai & Wài Pó and Dìdi. He is a Sundance alum and an Academy Award® nominee.
