Wiemann wurde 1981 in Greifswald geboren und wuchs in Vorpommern auf. Nach verschiedenen Theaterpraktika absolvierte er eine Berufsausbildung zum Mediengestalter Bild und Ton am Institut für neue Medien in Rostock. Von 2003 bis 2008 arbeitete er bei der United Motion Video- und Filmproduktion in den Bereichen Projektentwicklung, Kamera und Schnitt....

Mar 29, 2022 · We sat down with Tobias Wiemann (director) and Jytte-Merle Böhrnsen (co-writer and actress) for a chat about The Path (Germany, 2021), winner of the City of Malmö Award for Best Children’s Film at the 2022 BUFF Film Festival.
Tobias Wiemann. Born in Greifswald, Germany in 1981, after training as a media designer he worked as a cinematographer, editor and director and produced short films. Since 2008 he has been working for Til Schweiger’s production company Barefoot Films on major cinema productions.
