小栗 康平 （おぐり こうへい、 1945年 10月29日 - ）とは、 日本 の 映画監督 。 来歴. 1945年 10月29日 、 群馬県 前橋市 に生まれる。 群馬県立前橋高等学校 を卒業後、 早稲田大学第二文学部 に入学。 大学卒業後、まずは ピンク映画 の世界に飛び込んだが、ほどなく 浦山桐郎 の下に弟子入りする。 その後、フリーの 助監督 として、 山本迪夫 、 大林宣彦 、 篠田正浩 らの助監督を務めた。 この間、 1973年 に 特撮 テレビドラマ『 流星人間ゾーン 』で監督を務めている。 1981年 1月に、 宮本輝 原作による処女作『 泥の河 』を発表。 キネマ旬報ベスト・テン 第1位に選出され、 第5回日本アカデミー賞 で最優秀監督賞を受賞した。

Director Kohei Oguri is literally in a class by himself. Whereas most Japanese directors seem to habitually churn out multiple films a year, Oguri works at a rate of two films a decade. Despite (or thanks to) this Kubrickian pace, his films have always been highly lauded across the world.
