Young-seok, a university student nearing graduation, comes across a woman in the street who has fallen from her wheelchair, and helps her back home. She ends up feeding him a simple meal and he develops a vague curiosity for this woman who introduces herself as "Josée".
In a small city on the outskirts of Seoul, lives Josée (Han Ji Min), a unique young woman who lives life by her own set of rules. Abandoned as a child, Josée has spent most of her life on her own. Living in a rundown house, surrounded by an odd collection of rescued books, Josée has come to interpret the world in her own way.
