Bill Monroe's I'll Meet You In Church Sunday Morning had been recorded by The Stanley Brothers for King and in 1965 for Rimrock (appearing on the posthumous 'Empty Mansion, In Memory Of Carter Stanley' LP). Dwight Yoakam's Miner's Prayer was also featured with Ralph on 'The Ralph Stanley Story' DVD.
In addition to these, he re-recorded "Miner's Prayer", a track from Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc., as a duet with bluegrass singer Ralph Stanley on the latter's 1992 album Saturday Night & Sunday Morning.
The two first worked together on Stanley's 1992 LP Saturday Night & Sunday Morning and again on Yoakam's 1997 covers album performing a radically reworked version of The Clash ’s " Train in Vain ."
