John S. Harrison Jr. (born 1948) is an American television and film director, screenwriter, musician, composer and actor. He is best known for his collaborations with filmmaker George A. Romero , and for writing-directing the 2000 television miniseries adaptation of Dune .

- What have you found most challenging as a leader? Firstly the world lacks empathy. It is the biggest need of the hour. This VUCA (Volatile/ Uncertain/ Complex and Ambiguous) world needs empathy the most because we live in perilous times where nations are rising up against nations.
- How did you become a leader? Can you please briefly tell the story? My life has been full of many crucible experiences which were meant to break me but i did not allow that to happen, i used every such experience to make me and not break me.
- How do you structure your work days from waking up to going to sleep? The Pareto's Principle - the 80-20 rule is the driving force in my life. On a daily basis i focus on my critical, crucial, the most important things (my 20%) in my life and that's where i spend 80% of my daily energy, time and attention.
- What's a recent leadership lesson you've learned for the first time or been reminded of? I am very fascinated by Israel on how this tiny nation is ruling the world.
