Fuzzy (aka Jens Wilhelm Pedersen) studied composition with Per Nørgard, Vagn Holmboe, Finn Høffding, Jan Bark, György Ligeti and Karlheinz Stockhausen. He trained as a music theorist and composer and until 1982 lectured at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Aarhus, where he taught music theory and music history.
