Fu anche sceneggiatore del film Il cocco di mamma (1957), lavorò con Adriano Celentano, Bud Spencer, Terence Hill e Ennio Morricone. Morì in seguito ad incidente stradale sulla strada che collega lo Zambia alla Tanzania.
