Jul 28, 2023 · DENVER – The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced the organization has signed Defensive Coordinator Dan MacRae to a multi-year contract. The new contract will take effect immediately, with MacRae joining Pat Coyle and Jason Bishop on the bench for the upcoming 2023-24 NLL season.
Jul 27, 2023 · Uniondale, NY (July 27, 2023) – New York Riptide defenseman and team captain Dan MacRae has announced his retirement from the National Lacrosse League after 13 years, 12 seasons, and an NLL Championship with the Calgary Roughnecks in 2019.
Not long after Dan MacRae fired home the overtime goal that lifted the Riptide to the first win in franchise history on Saturday night, the veteran defenseman and team captain was concluding his post-game television interview.
Aug 16, 2022 · An 11-year NLL veteran, MacRae currently serves as captain of the Riptide. Last season, MacRae played in 18 games and finished with 12 points on five goals and seven assists, scooped 83 loose balls and caused 18 turnovers. He was named to the NLL All-League Second team in 2019-20.
