May 9, 2007 · On quizzing, Chandra remarks, “You know the film has American producers, Scott Pardo and Glenn Russow,” to emphasise the objectivity with which the project has been handled. “The film is a Muslim-Sikh love story and presents how life is for them and their family before and after 9/11,” Chandra says.
The film was shot in 2004 but was delayed due to "an exhaustive post-production exchange" between director Chandra and independent American producers—Scott Pardo and Glenn Russow. This included pre and post-production that was entirely done via the internet.
