Jan 8, 2007 · Dickens' Christmas Carol recording, with a cast headed by Basil Rathbone as Ebenezer Scrooge, was one of my favorite Christmas recordings when I was a child/preteen--only that recording was on 45 rpm records. It is a good abridgement and all the actor performances s on the recording are stellar.
