Jun 1, 2015 · A couple of weeks after the American Songbook premiere, I flew to Australia and performed I Bought A Blue Car Today as part of the Mardi Gras festival. That summer, I recorded an album of the same name, which was released in the fall.
On 1 September 2009, Cumming released his first solo album based around his one-man show, I Bought a Blue Car Today. Cumming returned to British television screens in 2011 to star as Desrae, a crossdresser, on the Sky series The Runaway.
