Textile and performance artist Kiyoshi Yamamoto (b. 1982) was born in Japan, but grew up in Rio, Brazil. Yamamoto attended Escola de Belas Artes in Rio de Janeiro and Saint Martin's School of Arts and Design in London, before he moved to Bergen to attend the Master's programme at Bergen Academy of Art and Design, which he completed in 2013.
