Ascension is the third studio album by the British post-metal band Jesu. The album was released on 10 May 2011 through Caldo Verde Records. Ascension is the first full-length studio album released by Jesu since 2007's Conqueror.

Jesu’s always been known for their atmospheric melding of post-rock, shoegaze, and metal elements, topped with a healthy dash of airy synths, and fuck if they don’t pull it off here. After much too long since Jesu’s magnum opus Conqueror, Ascension arrives with a ton of great and very little bad.
