Born 1961, Giovanni Venosta is an Italian composer who specializes in collages of samples (mainly ethnic music), found sounds, live improvisation. He has some solo album & collaborations with Roberto Musci, has also composed film soundtracks.
Giovanni Venosta. Composer, pianist and professor. I was born in Udine, October 8, 1961. In my childhood I spent four years in Rome and one in Florence (the infamous year of the flood!), living in a nice first floor apartment overlooking Arno river. In 1967 I finally settled in Milan with my family.
