A New Orleans detective falls prey to a malevolent Voodoo Priest who caters to the city's wealthy elite in this dark supernatural thriller. When down on his luck detective Jesse Bookman apprehends a vicious criminal, he quickly becomes a local celebrity. As a reward, his captain gives him a much-needed vacation.
