Andrew Lovelace Evans, better known as Andy Evans (born June 27, 1951) is an American auto racing driver and team owner. As a driver, he won the 1995 and 1997 12 Hours of Sebring. He owned Scandia, an IndyCar and IMSA team.

Andrew "Andy" Evans is the main antagonist of the 2004 teen drama film Speak, based on the 1999 novel of the same name by Laurie Halse Anderson. He is the archenemy of the protagonist, Melinda Sordino.
He was portrayed by Eric Lively and so far his only villain role.
Speak
Andy Evans was a senior in high school as well as the rapist of Melinda Sordino. He met Melinda at a party, and he took her into the woods to rape her. Melinda tried to call 911 to help her, but she didn't know what to tell them. This led to several people getting arrested at the party, and Melinda becoming an outcast. Because of this, Rachel ends her friendship with Melinda. With no one to speak to because of her traumatic experience, Melinda gradually became mute. Having not forgotten about her, Andy decides to sadistically bully Melinda as a reminder of what he did to her. He also encouraged Melinda's bullying to further place the young girl strictly into despair.
Andy was described as sleazy and narcissistic, and he was also noted as being very handsome-looking. Despite this, he was actually a repulsive individual underneath. He had a disturbing history of sexually assaulting girls, and it's heavily implied that Melinda wasn't the only girl that he raped.
Andy was also a sadist as shown when he was asking Melinda if she remembered their time together and taking great enjoyment from it.
Starring Kristen Stewart, Michael Angarano, Robert John Burke, Eric Lively, Elizabeth Perkins, D. B. Sweeney, and Steve Zahn, the film follows Melinda Sordino (Stewart), a high school freshman who stops talking after senior student Andy Evans (Lively) rapes her at a party.
A popular and handsome upperclassman, Andy Evans raped Melinda at a party the summer before Speak begins. He is the main antagonist of the book, and spends much of the narrative harassing Melinda in various subtle but menacing ways.
Character Analysis. Andy is a chilling villain. He's a high school senior who seems to have a long history of sexually assaulting girls. If the response to Melinda's anti-Andy graffiti is proof, Melinda is not the first girl raped by Andy, nor is she the first to keep quiet about the attack. Andy is basically a flat character.
