Mar 31, 2018 · Paul Catalanotto was schooled in industrial and graphic design at Carnegie Mellon University; and illustration, sculpture, photography and animation at Pratt Institute. Polished Fresco is the product of twenty years’ work as the most sought after plaster artisan in New York City.
Jun 28, 2024 · Catalanotto surpassed the magic 200-foot mark for the first time at Nike Outdoor nationals and JavFest where he threw between 206-207 feet. He made the javelin his sole focus this past season, leaving the football program after three years.
Paul Catalanotto was born in 1979 in Hammond, LA. He graduated with an MFA in Film Production from the University of New Orleans. He is a writer, known for Proof of the Devil (2015), Mary (2007), Facing Cancer (2013), In the Absence of of Saints (2009), and First Dates are Murder (2008).

My main goal is to preserve moments caught in time between, what I call, The struggle to exist and the flow toward nothingness. The Artist. I studied illustration at Pratt Institute, only because I didn’t know what else to do. But my heart wasn’t into it.
