Aditya Raj Kapoor (born 1 July 1956) is an Indian actor, filmmaker, author and retired businessman. Born into the Kapoor family, he is the son of actors Shammi Kapoor and Geeta Bali.

In his teens, he began assisting his uncle Raj Kapoor on films like Bobby, Dharam Karam, and Satyam Shivam Sundaram. But even as his cousins Rishi, Randhir, and Rajiv ventured into acting Aditya stayed away for the longest time. He turned producer with the 1989 film Gawaahi, which was a box office failure.
