In my lab, we study the molecular mechanisms that mediate exercise adaptations in skeletal muscle, including the function of the AMP-activated protein kinase signaling network. Our primary focus is on discovering novel therapeutics in the treatment of muscle wasting conditions such as cancer cachexia and sarcopenia.
