It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we announce the passing of #NYFA faculty member, Jim Pasternak. A veteran of Film and TV, Jim had been in film education for over 40 years. We had the good fortune of having him teach at the New York Film Academy for the past 8 years.
James David Pasternak was born on 18 March 1941. He was a producer and director, known for One Hell of a Guy (1998), End of the Beginning (2013) and The Good Fight (2004). He died on 20 August 2022.
