Anatol Schuster was born in 1985 in Darmstadt. He studied Literature and Philosophy in Regensburg and Avignon, France, where he dedicated a lot of his time towards poetry, theatre and photography. It was here where he first started shooting short experimental films.
Anatol Schuster has created a cinematic poem about the freedom of love and the purity of the heart from the rapprochement between two outsiders. Manja's poetic-musical search for clues is based on a delicate web of allusions, interpretations, but also disappointments.

Anatol Schuster wurde in 1985 in Darmstadt geboren. Er studierte Literatur und Philosophie in Regensburg und Avignon (Frankreich), und widmete sich daneben auch Lyrik, Theater und Fotografie. Während des Studiums entstanden auch seine ersten experimentellen Kurzfilme.
Anatol Schuster, born in 1985, studied directing at the University of Television and Film in Munich. He realised various experimental short films and worked as 2nd AD for Edgar Reitz. A Perfect Place won the award “Dialogue en perspective” at the International Film Festival Berlin in 2015.
