last I used the service was 8 month ago. then you could watch live tv for some channels both sd and hd from jiotv app. some channels are paywalled behind sonyliv ,discovery + etc . but others work well. my dad would watch news and my mom would her serials without any problem in hd . only problem was anytime they wanted to change channel I had to go down and help them. so we stopped using it for tv channel and continued using wifi and installed cable connection.
