VNIT Nagpur campus is around 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport and 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) from Nagpur Train Station. The campus has three primary entrances: the Main Gate on South Ambazari Road, the Bajaj Nagar Gate, and the Yashwant Nagar Gate.
