The University of Tokyo (東京大学, Tōkyō daigaku, abbreviated as Tōdai (東大) in Japanese and UTokyo in English [7]) is a public research university in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan.
Undergraduate and graduate admissions are accepted for start in April and in October. Undergraduate information is usually available roughly nine months in advance and applications are usually submitted roughly four months in advance. The dates for graduate admissions vary widely.
