This is what it shows in the Device Manager. I have tried the methods suggested in that article already, however, it doesn't seem like a permanent solution.

Dec 21, 2023 · It starts working also after 7-8 days, works for 2-3 days, and then stops working again. I have updated all my drivers to the latest version, and tried rolling them back to see if my touchpad works, but nothing works. In the device manager, the I2C HID Device says "This device cannot start. (Code 10). A request for the HID descriptor failed."
