This is the first I've heard of Tame Impala hate tbf. Any artist will get hate once they reach a certain level of popularity though so I wouldn't worry about it. It's also a sign of an ever evolving artist, so it's not necessarily a bad thing. Just look at artists like Kanye or TOOL. Loads of haters, legendary music.

I used to cringe at older tame sets for his bad vowels and poor breath control, but now it’s much more palatable. Singing lessons can and will make you a better singer, pitch correction is a bandaid to the performance.

It shows Kevin recording an alternate version of Powerlines. You don't see the DAW, but he's said many times in past interviews that he uses Ableton.
