Sunil Kumar (Hindi: सुनील कुमार, born 29 September 1999) is an Indian wrestler. [1] [2] He won a bronze medal in the men's Greco-Roman 87 kg event at the 2022 Asian Games and gold medal in the 2020 Asian Championships in the men's 87 kg Greco-Roman category. [3]
Kumar won gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi on 10 October 2010. He beat Heinrich Barnes 7–0 in the finals in the 66 kg freestyle wrestling category. The bout was stopped by the referee in the second round. Earlier, in the semifinals, Kumar defeated Famara Jarjou 3–0 within 9 seconds.
