Rameshbabu Vaishali (born 21 June 2001) is an Indian chess grandmaster. [1] [2] Vaishali and her brother Praggnanandhaa are the first-ever brother-sister duo to both earn the GM title. They are also the first-ever brother-sister duo to qualify for the Candidates .
Vaishali is the older sister of GM Praggnanandhaa R. She won the 2023 FIDE Women's Grand Swiss with an 8.5/11 score, thus qualifying for the 2024 Candidates months after her brother did so at the 2023 FIDE World Cup.
