So - PUC Check is not required in brand new car. Post - completion of 1 year only, Pollution Check needs to be done and that too the Certificate will carry validity of 1 year.

As per RTO process- after expiry of 15 yrs, the registration can be renewed for every 5 subsequent years subject to RTO inspector clear the vehicle with a fitness / road worthiness.
