I'm seeking people that can assist where that is a division of their practice or law students that are looking to gain good experience by assisting us, so knowledge would be the gain. Aug 21, 2009 · Pro bono is Latin, meaning "for good." Since lawyers have nothing to sell but their time and experience, most can't afford to give much of it away. Those who do provide some pro bono service usually do it through organized programs, not to random people who just call on the phone.

It's not confidential, it can be brought into court, and the last thing you want is for the employer to find out what you and your attorney have been discussing.

Jan 30, 2017 · Most criminal defense attorneys will work a payment plan. It depends on what you mean by that. They will likely want a substantial retainer up front. But call around. The attorneys who respond on AVVO are really excellent. The PD is the pro bono criminal defense attorney in NJ. It is extremely rare for a private attorney to work pro bono.
