Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Shri Narendra Singh Tomar today lauched two portals, one for the Computerized Registration of pesticide (CROP) and the other for Plant Quarantine Management System (PQMS).
PQMS is a comprehensive e-Governance solution that manages the online import permit, import release, and export processes of plants. It plays a crucial role in ensuring that the imported and exported plants comply with the plant quarantine regulations and standards across the country.
The agency has to submit application to concerned RPQS in the format given in NSPM 9, 12 & 22 by making payment as per related NSPM in Bharatkosh and prior to application they should have qualified and trained operators as per NSPM.
