Folder and leave it unnamed - then right click that folder and select Properties you will see a change icon button... and it will show the path to the icon that your new folder is using. There are some programs that will extract the .ico's .

On my action centre on Windows 10 Pro, location is turned off, it's also turned off in my privacy settings. However I still occasionally see the icon (two circles) on the system tray (taskbar) indicating that an app is using my location.

Jan 2, 2022 · The icons for some of the folders stayed as they were, but some changed to a simple brown folder icon: Of the brightly coloured folders, the only one that changed was the green "Downloads" folder, which changed to a plain brown folder icon. I was able to change this back to the default green-coloured folder icon using the "Customise" option.
