The School of Distance Education and Learning (SODEL) of Jaipur National University was established in the year 2008-2009. In September, 2009 the University got approval from DEC and the Joint Committee of AICTE-UGC-DEC to start various programmes of studies at Under Graduate and Post Graduate levels.
The School of Distance Education and Learning received recognition for its programmes from the Distance Education Council of IGNOU and the Joint Committee of the UGC-AICTE-DEC for offering certain programmes through Distance Education mode.
Foundation (Compulsory) Courses in I Semester. A student will study foundation courses the in first semester of the study. In addition, he will select three Elective subjects from the list of the elective subjects.
Last dates for the Sessions. The Last Dates for various sessions are announced by the university and the same is notified on the website. The Application forms are given in the Prospectus/website. Fill-up the form and submit it to the University.

Students can apply for faculty positions in colleges and universities. Eligibility:- Passed BCA/ Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent UGC recognized graduate degree. Passed B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. / or any other UGC recognized graduate degree with Mathematics at 10+2 Level or at Graduation Level.
