Nov 5, 2020 · The i20 petrol is powered by Hyundai’s in-house developed 998cc, 3-cylinder turbocharged engine. It's called the Kappa 1.0 Turbo GDI, and gets a direct injection fueling system, electronic wastegate actuator, a variable oil pump, oil spray jets for the pistons from the crank side and dual variable valve timing.
Apr 27, 2024 · The top-spec Asta Option and N-Line N8 variants doesn't have wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a shocking omission. The 311-litre boot is roomier than it looks and can hold a surprising amount of luggage. The i20 is sized perfectly for presence and is quite easy to negotiate through narrow lanes and traffic.
Apr 13, 2022 · Hyundai has deleted some features from the i20 Asta like air purifier and eco coating. Small annoying cost-cutting measures. Lack of essentials like 60:40 split seats. Expensive to buy, especially in Bangalore. Over sensitive brakes at slow speeds resulting in jerks.
Feb 2, 2024 · Hyundai is able to achieve a sweet spot as far as the Powertrain is concerned on the new i20. While 1.2 Kappa is not as peppy as Suzuki’s K series, it is smooth, refined and gives a decent performance on the i20 if one considers it for a well matured Car under safe driving practices on Indian road conditions.
