  7. Jan 18, 2024 · No, not with any normal computer. A float can represent a number with 6 to 7 total digits of accuracy. It is not possible to represent the exact value of all numbers with a given number of decimal places. For example, 0.1 cannot be represented exactly by a float value. I suspect that your example of 20.09 cannot be represented exactly, either.
