Enteric-coated aspirin lowers your risk of a heart attack, stroke or blood clot. It can also treat pain, inflammation and arthritis. This NSAID comes as a capsule or tablet you can take by mouth with a glass of water as directed. Children and teenagers shouldn’t use this medication to treat chicken pox or flu symptoms.
