Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom Classic always crash when using the graphics to run AI denoise algorithm, even when creating a mask or preset.

After they were crash city I went down to the WHQL 21.5.2 drivers and it's still the exact same thing - my card is an RX470 8GB btw. Open that .exe with 7zip and you will see Bin64,Config,Packages and Setup.exe. Go into Packages and extract "Drivers". Go into Device Manager and then expand "Display Adapters".

Jul 4, 2021 · Windows doesn't write or provide the drivers, Windows update is simply a delivery service. This problem is literally nothing more than an AMD versioning software problem. 1) AMD releases driver to Windows update. 2) AMD releases software overlay to Windows update. 3) AMD's released products are not compatible.

Sep 8, 2018 · Driver and DDU downloaded, disconnected from the internet, stopped windows updates, cleared AMD folder and uninstall all AMD devices, start in safe mode, run DDU, after reboot install new driver then restart.
