Feb 5, 2020 · Based on my test, synced account is added one X500 address automatically. It is related to the NDR Message replied to old emails after mailbox migration. Then new mailboxes were created for each user to with the new domain name. I know the basics of PowerShell, but not where to start with this (although I know it should be fairly easy) Can anyone get me started as to do this. Aug 14, 2020 · I find out it from your screenshot, the X500 address is missing. And it is used for internal mail flow. If we don’t add the X500 address to the user’s attributes, when dealing with the old mail items, the sender may receive NDR (Non-delivery Report) reporting that the specific recipient doesn’t exist.
May 4, 2021 · A users Outlook is connected to Microsoft 365 for email, and all of a sudden today their account (tested multiple profiles/PCs/etc) is showing the X.500 address when replying to some emails in their inbox.
Jan 2, 2020 · Migration went fine. Cleared Tenant 1 users outlook cache so it delivers correctly to Domain 2 (which used to be in Tenant 1).
