Danny Denzongpa (born Tshering Phintso Denzongpa; 25 February 1948) is an Indian actor, playback singer, and film director who primarily works in Hindi and occasionally in Bengali, Nepali, and Tamil films. In a career spanning five decades, has acted in over 190 films since 1971.
His directorial debut, Phir Wahi Raat, starring Rajesh Khanna became a huge success at the box-office. The actor also has a prospering business of breweries in states like Sikkim, Orissa and Guwahati. In his 4-decade-long career, Denzongpa has acted in over 210 films.
