4.3 (5) Mackmyra The Kaizen 02 - Shinobi is a whisky creation from the experimental distillery in Sweden. The whisky was matured for around 10 years in ex-bourbon casks in the distillery's Bodâs mine, which were infused with exclusive Japanese tea. Shinobi tea is created by adding melting ice cubes to Gyokuro tea.
Suntory Whisky Toki. 3.3 (84) Suntory Toki is a Blend Whisky from Suntory's three distilleries. Toki' means 'time'. The name symbolises the connection between past, present and future. Unlike the rest of the Suntory Blends, Toki focuses on the Single Malt from Hakushu and the heavy Chita Grain.
The whisky has a slightly smoky flavour, although it is made from unpeated malt. This is due to the fact that peated (smoky) malt was used in a production cycle immediately beforehand. Before number 4 of the series was bottled in the particularly artistic bottles, the whisky matured for 5.4 years exclusively in Merlot wine casks from a well-known South Tyrolean winery.
