Apr 14, 2024 · I've actually dialed back how much I watch TCM because some of these classic movies in my opinion aren't classics in the sense when looking at the history of TCM. Seeing movies from the 80s and 90s just seems weird to me.

May 28, 2021 · It is probably more so because of rights issues. They have access to all the WB/MGM/RKO movies, but pretty limited access to the other studios films (Fox, Universal, Paramount). So being limited on content makes sense. TCM seems to be playing the same movies all month long.
